Opening Night at Flamboro 2010

We had a great opening night of racing with the debut of the Vitamin D car #20 at Flamboro Saturday April 24th. It was cold and windy but the racing was hot! Parker started 4th in his heat race and won that handily. He started the first 25 lap feature and led the first 23 laps before a caution closed thing up. On the re-start he got beat to the inside by #31 Bailey and finished second.

For the second 25 lap event Parker started 13th and had to battle his way to the front. Again with about 2 laps to go the race was slowed due to a caution. Parker was right behind the leader, the car the beat him the first race #31 Bailey. Payback was coming. He drove hard into corner 1, charged up the inside, there was contact as the #31 tried to close the door but by the time they exited turn 4 Parker was in the lead. This time he would not be denied as he held off the hard driving #31 of Bailey who beat us and banged us but couldn't get by. Parker and the Vitamin D car clinched their first feature win of 2010.
